Considered the principal scientific and trade association for the food industry, the National Food Processors Association (NFPA) helps keep Heinz (a longtime NFPA member) abreast of relevant scientific and public policies. The NFPA covers issues involving food safety, nutrition, technical and regulatory matters as well as consumer affairs.

You can access the NFPA consumer Web site at www.safefood.org to find out more about current food-related consumer issues, including food safety, food allergies, food labeling and obesity. The online Consumer Fact Sheets are a particularly helpful resource.

You can also visit the main NPFA site for valuable articles and reports on Public Policy, Food Science, Domestic and International Regulatory News and links to a variety of government agencies and public health organizations.

Nutrition.gov
This new national resource makes it easy to access valuable government information on nutrition, health and food safety ? all in one site.
